DAVID SACKS, ABR.
In Dallas and Broken Bow.
Growing up in some of Philadelphia’s most ancient neighborhoods, David Sacks has had a lifelong appreciation and affinity for historic properties, homes of architectural interest and the synergy of inner city living.

A licensed Realtor in Texas since 1981 and a 25 year veteran of the mortgage industry, David combines a comprehensive understanding of real estate and financing, an in-depth knowledge of the Dallas market and exceptional interpersonal skills. He holds a Texas mortgage brokers license and is an FHA Direct Endorsement underwriter,as well as being an Accredited Buyers Representative and Preservation Dallas Advanced Historic House Specialist. David’s strong finance background drives another one of his areas of expertise, that of investment/1031 exchange properties.

Identifying the growing trend toward the purchase of vacation and second home properties, David established David Sacks Real Estate as owner/broker in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, opening a full service office there in 2007. Broken Bow, in the far southeastern corner of the state, is home to the ever-popular Beavers Bend Resort Park and Broken Bow Lake. In addition to the sale of vacation/second home/investment properties and building sites, the business has quickly evolved into the “go to” source for buying and selling commercial properties, permanent homes and REO/foreclosure properties. David Sacks Real Estate was honored by the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce with their new business award in 2008.

David is a former competitive tri athlete who still enjoys biking and swimming with Dallas Aquatic Masters. He is a member of Preservation Dallas, Dallas Area Woodturners, the Bryan Place Homeowners Association and the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce.

Janette Brown, Branch Broker for David Sacks Real Estate, has combined her love of the outdoors with her devotion to people and turned these passions into a blossoming real estate career.

Raised in East Texas, Janette fondly remembers family summer vacations spent at Broken Bow Lake. SHERI KOHLER
In Broken Bow.
Reliable. Honest. Hardworking. These are just a few of the admirable traits that describe Sheri Kohler, Broker Associate with David Sacks Real Estate.

Sheri grew up in Nevada and began her early working career in that state’s hospitality industry. She and her two young children relocated to Broken Bow in 1995 after the tragic loss of their father. Following stints as the reporter/manager for local TV station KLOP, raising paint and miniature horses and operating Marvelous Beauty “Curves” in neighboring Idabel, Sheri began studying for a career in real estate in 2001. She obtained her license in 2002 and, after working for several other brokerage firms in McCurtain County, joined David Sacks Real Estate in early 2008.

One of Sheri’s main areas of expertise is that of REO/foreclosure properties and one of her true joys is finding that perfect property for first time homebuyers. She is always striving to enhance her abilities by continuing education, whether it is completing the Oklahoma appraisal course, USPAP or working closely with lenders to understand the constantly changing loan programs available in the marketplace.

Sheri’s daughter is a senior at Broken Bow High School and her son is proudly serving this country in the United States Air Force, stationed in Altus, Oklahoma. In September 2004, Sheri became a grandmother and says that when she looks into her granddaughter’s eyes, she “can see her grandfather shining through.”

Sheri’s direct telephone number is 580.212.9517
